I was sceptical at first as I was reading some negative reviews about using a Migration Agent/Lawyer mainly due to the possiblity of a failed application via this channel, hence, most people decided to do it on their own.  I was looking high and low for a reliable and reasonably priced Agent/Lawyer and came across AK Canada.  I made initial contact with the firm, got some preliminary information of what their services are, how they can help us and what are included in the fees. Out of two other Migration Lawyers, I decided to engage AK Canada.  Their Staff were helpful although some are more knowledgeable than the other, but it is not a big concen.  Mind you though that their process is very thorough.  They basically ask you to submit complete documentation with the aim to get your application approved.  Due to this factor, I did not receive any document request from the Immigration Officer which was a huge bonus for us, which also resulted in a very quick processing of our appllication.  From the time when we submitted our application till the time when we received the Passport Request, it took us only nine weeks.  This is an awesome result for which I have to give credit to AK Canada's Staff.  There were time when I repeatedly emailed to ask if they received any further updates, and without fail, they would respond to my queries promptly, usually within 24 hours.  They are professianal Migration Lawyers who know what they are doing and what is best for their clients.  Please bear in mind that I am not paid to provide this reference however I think AK Canada deserves to be mentioned for their services to their clients.
