| Abrams and Krochak is an excellent law firm that specializes in immigration to Canada. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism. Their turnaround time with documents and/or answers to clients is extremely fast, they are very knowledgeable, and the personnel, from the law clerks up to the partners themselves, are professional and pleasant to work with. Abrams and Krochak accurately predicted our chances of becoming landed immigrants, using the criteria we gave them. The level of detail they demand in the application is well worth the effort, for this detail may be one of the important criteria that the Canadian government looks for. While one could research all of this on the Web, and use the documents that the Canadian government provides, it would be very easy to miss an important detail or to write something the wrong way, and thus get rejected. Their fees are quite reasonable for all the work that they do, and using them is well worth the money spent. We used them for obtaining NAFTA work and study permits as a corollary first, before our application for landed immigrant permits. As an aside, at the US-Canada border, the two groups of people in front of us, trying to apply for work permits, got rejected, even though they seemed to have sheaves of forms and paperwork. I had read the documents that Abrams and Krochak had prepared for our application, and I was confident that we would have no problem - and we did not. Professional, knowledgeable, personable, prompt, with reasonable fees, would be a short way of describing the Abrams and Krochak law firm. You will not regret using them. | |

| Without A&K, I never would have gotten my Permanent Residence card within this time frame. The firm had told my husband and I that I would have my Visa within 6 months of application, and they were just about right on the money! My application took a little longer because I live in Quebec. When applying for P.R. in Quebec, you must be approved through Canada AND Quebec. At the time of my application, the immigration offices were overloaded with work, and still, with the help of A&K I was able to get my P.R. within about 6 months from the date of completion of my application. The immigration process is long and VERY detailed. I would suggest saving EVERY LITTLE PIECE of information that concerns you with Canada. I cannot stress this point enough!!! Make copies of any information required and keep dates!! I know of a married couple that is trying to live together in Canada (he's Canadian and she is Puerto Rican). They are doing it alone, without the help of lawyers, and they have been trying and denied entry for over 5 years!!!!! Don't get me wrong, it is still a lot of work even with the help of A&K, but they sure do help A LOT!!!! We corresponded through email and I NEVER waited more than 1 day for a response. Sometimes, someone from the team would even respond to me within the same day!! This was a GREAT tool and I would recommend it to anyone that would like to GREATLY speed up their immigration process.
