Abrams & Krochak have held our hand all the way through our 3 year wait for permanent residence. Initially, I was a bit dubious about using their services, but the 100% guarantee gave me the reassurance that we were dealing with a reputable firm. We did not apply immediately, as I had several questions to ask and was glad to see that Jeffrey Abrams was responding to my questions. Once all the doubts had been cleared up, we sent off for their application pack. The payments were done in stages, which again aided our application process. Once the forms were completed by ourselves, I was pleasantly surprised by the drafts that were sent back. They were professionally completed by Abrams & Krochak and the legal submission letter that accompanied our application was the icing on the cake. I first contacted A&K in 2004 regarding immigration as a skilled worker, after my research of immigration consultants & lawyers via the internet. Many who were not based in Canada failed to impress me by their presentation, the overview of Canadian life, the quality of spelling & grammar used on these websites. I had concerns about my eligibility & chances of success as I was running my own business at the time which did not afford me the opportunity to present much in the way of references. Many former employers had ceased to exist & like so many British citizens I did not possess a degree. I was considered a borderline case for a successful application & was taken on but without any guaranty of acceptance. I wanted to be sure all my paperwork was submitted correctly & that every base was covered given the lack of references & other paperwork available. After living in Cananda for 18 months and returning once our visas expired my wife and I didn't think that we had enough points to move to Canada permanently. I applied to move to Canada in 2003 and as I intend to start a business decided to immigrate under the entrepreneur category. I looked at many law firms providing immigration services and was attracted most importantly by the statement that they would not take on clients whom did not stand a very good chance of succeeding. This seems to me to be an honest business policy, and would enable them to give a full and proper service to those that they agree to accept as clients.
